“Holstein’s cows at Baladna Dairy Farm north of Doha quietly set off on a circular platform, connecting to automated milking pipes three times a day. After that, they are sprayed with cold water and return to a barn with cooling systems that keep the summer temperature mild, resting about 20,000 cows on beds of chilled sand. Compensation of dairy products that were imported from Qatar and stopped due to the blockade. “She (the cows) does everything but yoga,” she said, quoting Saba al-Fadhala, public relations manager at Baladna.
